With a dash of 7% Petit Verdot, this Malbec is expressive, with good fruit flow and stands out from many others with its own very personal spicy and floral touch. With a refreshing attack, it flows tightly towards a full and juicy mid-palate. Medium bodied with firm, chalky tannins, it displays an elegant style while also demonstrating modern winemaking.
SOIL: Shallow silty soil of alluvial origin with
abundant rocks 40 years old vines of Malbec,
masal selection Altamira. 14 years old Petit
Verdot.
YIELD: 5800 kilograms per hectare. Manual harvest in
15 kilograms bins.
FERMENTATION: In concrete tanks with epoxy liner, traditional
fermentation with selected yeasts for 10 days
in between 20 and 29 celcius degrees. 100%
Malolactic fermentation.
AGING: 7 months in concrete eggs and tanks with fine
lees.
