10 months in French Oak Barrels of 225 liters: 15% first use and the rest in barrels of second and third use.
TASTING NOTES
This wine has a deep ruby red color and complex aromas, characteristic of violets, raspberries, wild mint and spicy notes. Medium-bodied with remarkable elegance and balance, leading to delicately sweet and subtle tannins.

To celebrate the addition of Jean Claude Berrouet (World famous winemaker from Pomerol) as Consultant Winemaker, Tapiz released the new “Alta Collection” line of wines in 2013. The “Alta Collection” fruit comes from Tapiz's sustainably-farmed estate vineyards in Uco Valley, Mendoza. Chief winemaker Fabian Valenzuela and Jean Claude work together to create a beautiful tapiz (tapestry) between the wine's intense, high- altitude fruit and its oak ageing.
