The same three grapes feature in this latest ‘Branco’ blend, however the proportions here are slightly different: Assyrtiko (45%), Arinto (30%) and Alvarinho (‘Albariño’ in Spanish, 25%) – a fascinating, if not unique, combination of Portuguese grapes and the Greek Assyrtiko, which is native to the island of Santorini. Remarkably, the wine is produced from a 16 htrs. vineyard situated in the rolling plains of southwest Brazil, on the border with Argentina.

This is a crisp dry white notable for its zingy, refreshing lemon/lime and grapefruit acidity. Subtle hints of peach and saline are discernible on the nose, while the palate is smooth and balanced, underlined by a streak of minerality. Enjoy well chilled as an aperitif or pair with salads, seafood, fish or white meat dishes.
