Maquis REVELA Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This Cabernet Sauvignon comes mainly from a block planted in 1997, with a massal selection on ungrafted rootstock, in a soil with a 45% clay content which provides greater volume on the palate and elegant tannins. This year our Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Carménère & 3% Petit Verdot

TASTING NOTES

In a rather cool vintage throughout the Central Valley, this wine feels fruity, crisp in its expression of red fruits. But there is more. Herbal aromas in the background underline the refreshing side, while fine, sharp tannins add structure and body in a red for braised meats.
