VINEYARDS
From some of Argentina’s (and therefore the world’s) highest altitude vineyards. Average vine age: 80-100 years.
VINTAGE 2014 , Cafayate 100% Malbec
VINIFICATION
Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks followed by malolactic and ageing (18-24 months) in new French oak.
TASTING NOTES
The deep garnet-red colour is still very dark, reminiscent of a very young wine.
The exuberant red fruit aromas are typical of wines in this region, marked by rich and intense fruity aromas of strawberry and raspberry.
Fresh on the palate with surprising tension and acidity.
The tannin is dense and well-defined. A beautiful, long aftertaste.
