Location: Cafayate Valley, Salta, Argentina

TASTING NOTES:

Aroma of ripe black plum, blackberry and blueberry compote. High altitude lift violet, fresh herbs and a touch of anise. Subtle cocoa, cedar and warm spice if lightly oak influenced.

On the palate is full-bodied but not heavy, Calchaqui altitude gives natural freshness. Mid-palaterichness with dark chocolate and sweet tobacco. Tannins is firm but rounded, slightly chalky. Acidity bright,giving lift and lenght. 

Long finish with lingering violet and mineral edge. A touch of pepper or mountain herbs depending on the vintage's ripeness.
