Stick to Laborum Malbec or Cab. Sauv, not Tannat.

Having lived in Argentina and knowing very well the wines of El Porvenir - I was disappointed with the Tannat, which I have never seen in Argentina as the variety is associated with Uruguay. The price of £19 reflects the lower quality as Laborum Malbec and Cab Sauv are selling for £25+.

    Amazing Argentinean wine

Definitely best wine I tasted in 2020. And with Covid in town I have tried a lot of different wines!. Classic southamerican - rich - peppery but somehow mature. Best wine under £20 i have tried in a long time
