Bodega Pastoral focuses on capturing the distinct terroir of Mendoza, blending old-vine fruit from their historic 1955 estate with newer vineyard sites to craft a balanced, expressive Malbec.

The Comunal de Pastoral Malbec 2024 features a vibrant, fruit-forward, and un-oaked profile. Because it is aged for 12 months exclusively in concrete vats (hormigón) rather than wooden barrels, the pure characteristics of the Mendoza terroir and the grape take centre stage.

TASTING NOTES

Aroma: Driven by fresh red fruits, wild plums, and subtle floral hints of violets.

Palate: Linear and vertical with an emphasis on freshness. High presence of black and red cherries.

Structure: High natural acidity balanced by fine, chalky tannins derived from the Altamira components.
